This is my latest Re-Couture creation. It’s made of recycled a silk shirt, dress and skirt. It still needs a little work.  Lining, hemming and a different belt although I do like the contrasting color against the red. As soon as it’s finished I’ll list it at my Etsy shop.

Our friend Will hosted a breakfast and shenanigans on MLK day. Who knew it would turn out to be such a lovely day? Breakfast, skateboarding, hackensack, target shooting with a slingshot and blowgun, tossing a football & a movie. It was a full day.

I was robbed!!!

Saturday, the last night of a very busy restaurant week. I was leaving to go home when I found my car had been emptied out. I had boxes of clothes and shoes in the trunk for the consignment shop, some shoes for resoling, a parasol for the baseball games, and miscellaneous odds and ends…all gone! But the worst…they stole my yoga mat!!! Bastards!!!!   I was getting rid of the other stuff so I can let that go, but my yoga mat?! There’s a special place in H E double chopsticks for those people!!

Oh…and my Gucci loafers, which I loved. I was taking them to the shoe repair also. *%$#$* !!!!

I started a vintage shop on Etsy called Roadside Vintage Hut & Sea Kitten Fry. I love the term Sea Kitten. Anyway, I listed some items and sold the cotton candy pink prom dress within 15 minutes. Yeah!!! Now only 300 more items of clothing to go.
